Reiki On

Tonight, I was taking care of the chickens, horses, and geese after another long work day. Today, I had to drive to two and a half hours (one way) for a two hour meeting. It was really good but I hadn't slept well the night before. Anyhow, my chickens were not quite ready to go inside. I sat down and decided to just live in the moment and enjoy them rather than just head back to the house (like I have been). I found myself giving Reiki to the flock and meditating, eyes closed, and did a grounding exercise. Originally, they were ignoring me. When my eyes opened, the adults were not around (they were in the coop when I arrived) but the youngsters were all standing near me, quiet, totally still, and looking at me. Once I smiled at them, they moved on, ate and drank, and put themselves away. It was wonderful, lovely, and very gratifying. My horses, dogs, cat, and cockatiel all love Reiki too. :)

I use essential oils when giving Reiki (not all of the time but often). Sometimes just aromatherapy, other times applied. (Animals and people) I am drawn to certain oils with each client. (Crystals too - sometimes I use the red light after a session as an additional healing tool.) I use essential oils on my dogs and horses. I have a reference book, written by a veterinarian. I use it as a guide. I only use Young Living therapeutic oils as they are excellent quality and pure. I trust them. I have used them orally, aromatically, and topically.

I have a Reiki dog client that I used aromatherapy during his session. I used YL Grounding blend. He seemed to enjoy it. So did his cat sister. (Cats are a little trickier with EO's.)

The Universe is an interesting place.

I am now a Reiki Master/Teacher!!

It's official, I am now a Reiki Master/Teacher. My class was last night and it was an incredible experience. My attunement was emotion invoking, opening as well as closing, helping bring quiet to my mind, closure in my heart.

This morning I felt fantastic, better than I have in a very long time. I am positive that it is because of the group I was with, wonderful women with strong energy. Wow.

The final attunement was tonight done at a distance. My crown and third eye chakras really opened up. For the event, I sat in the dark outside on a step stool, just a little light from the barn illuminating the area. I closed my eyes and sat quietly to receive the energy from my teacher. My horses surrounded me. They nuzzled and nibbled, they breathed deeply and then got very still. My extroverted horse Fosse started grooming me, I peeked and just knew I would see him. It felt fun, joyful, and perfect. The attunement and undemanding time with the horses was precisely what I needed. My mind was totally clear and in the moment. Amazing and miraculous.

If you are interested in learning more or having. Reiki session in person or at a distance, for yourself or your animals, let me know.
