New blanketing thoughts

The blanketing question came up on Parelli's Facebook page and many other pages. This was a post I made about the topic. My horses are fed a high quality forage diet and have beautiful, healthy coats. We do not blanket and they always have free access to shelter. Our temperatures can go well below zero (-30 to -40). Our horses are healthier than ever! (In the past, we fed grain and hay and blanketed - lived in a warmer climate too.) If you let them live naturally, they are healthier mind, body, and soul. :)
