Taking out knots - hair and jewelry!
I read somewhere that you can use cornstarch to remove knots from jewelry. Today, I decided to try the same with my horse Whiskey's mane. He gets fairy knots and I often use expensive grooming products, baby oil gel, etc. Anyhow, although a bit messy, the cornstarch worked far better than anything! So, although my dark bay horse turned white, his mane was beautiful.
