Weekly Task Challenge: Pony Games!

If you don't know what to do, have little time, or just feeling stuck, try the weekly task as a way to at least do something with your horse! (It just may motivate you to do more.)

My friend Clare who writes the Happy Trails blog (you've all hear about her many times) found this gem and I just had to share! It seemed like a fun resource to form a weekly task challenge around. We are both in agreement that this is not just something for kids and if you are a PNHr, you will love it!

Excerpt from, The Pony Games Book, "In The Pony Games Book, we have compiled a variety of games that address a wide range of topics including: developing a balanced seat, paying attention to detail, using energy constructively, managing speed and gaits, and much more. Included are instructions for how the games are played, methods for varying the difficulty, explanations of what topics a game addresses, and ideas for how to reward the outcomes you desire."

This week's task is to download the PDF version of the Pony Games Book (or purchase a print copy) from Pony Pros. Read the book, create (write down) a play plan, and then, go out and play with your horse! So, how many games can you play this week? Try to do at least three. This book has challenge points associated with the games, see how many you can earn! Better yet, get a few friends together and have a pony play date! :)

Don't these games sound like fun? How could you possibly resist this challenge?
